I am a writer and science journalist based in New York. Currently, I’m an associate editor at Scientific American magazine. Previously, I was a reporter for New Scientist. My work has also been published in Scientific American MIND, Wired UK, Salon, The Awl, Popular Mechanics, OnEarth, Psychology Today and Environmental Health News. I have an MA from New York University in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting and a Bachelors of Science from Tufts University in psychology and English literature.
